Introducing the newest addition to Aero Precision Handguard lineup - the ATLAS R-ONE. The R-ONE line of handguards are machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and designed keeping size and weight in mind - making them a perfect choice for your lightweight build. Aero Precision's proprietary ATLAS attachment system provides a durable and dependable mounting platform. The system maintains a slim profile while providing strength and stability that the customers have come to expect from Aero Precision handguards.
The ATLAS system comes with a barrel nut with turnbuckle screw and two tapered locking nuts that distribute clamping pressure evenly across the handguard. A ratcheting detent further secures the system and provides positive registration during installation. The ATLAS Handguards come with all the hardware required for installation.
The KeyMod and M-LOK profiles of the ATLAS Handguard are available in 12" and 15" options with 7" and 9" options coming soon. Both KeyMod and M-LOK Handguards feature a full top picatinny rail and a 1.3" inside diameter and 1.5" outside diameter. Additionally, they are compatible with low-profile gas blocks, mil-spec AR15 upper receivers, and barrels. The KeyMod Handguard Weights are 7" – 5.12 oz, 9" – 5.92 oz, 12" – 7.84 oz, and 15" – 8.96 oz. The M-LOK Handguard Weights are 7" – 5.22 oz, 9" – 6.03 oz, 12" – 8 oz, and 15" – 9.07 oz. The mounting hardware weight is 4.72 oz and is the same for all ATLAS Handguard options.
The ATLAS Handguards match seamlessly with Aero Precision's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers and are compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. To save when purchasing both, consider buying them as a combo.
