Unlike other mounts, it has the lowest height-over-bore in the industry, without the expensive need to cut your slide or buy an aftermarket slide. We thoroughly tested this mount with several popular red dot optics and fired more than thousands of rounds, and found that each one worked flawlessly with the mount. This includes models like Burris Fast Fire II and III, Leupold Delta Point reflex sights, Docters II and III, EoTech MRDS, Trijicon RMR, Vortex Venom and Viper, and many more. The mount is secured to the slide via the dove tail and six set screws. Two screws are placed in the dovetail cut, one forward and aft of the dovetail, and two more to prevent any shift, giving you a sturdy and rugged mount that will hold zero. The package comes with mounting hardware like 6mm, 8mm and 10mm screws, with two of each, to fit and secure the most popular optics in the market. You will need to find the screws that match your optic, and there are two special screws for Trijicon RMR. After installing the mount and finding the correct post, which includes two sets of reinforcing posts, to fit your optic, mount the optic on the post, and use the final two longer securing screws to secure your optic to the mount.
