The cartridge case is aligned and supported with the sizing bushing before the sizing process begins, much like Reddings Competition Seating Die's design. The cartridge case remains supported in a tightly chambered, sliding sleeve during the resizing process. The resizing bushing centers on the case neck while the decapping rod stays precisely aligned by using the internal parts of the die for support like a firing pin. The micrometer adjustment of the bushing position provides exact control over the desired amount of neck length to be sized. These dies are ideal for Competition Shooters who have expertly prepared their cartridge cases and prefer not to use a sizing button. However, carbide size button kits are available separately. Bushings and shellholders must be purchased separately.
