Introducing the LSS-RF Gen2, the latest evolution of MDT's chassis system designed specifically for popular .22LR caliber rifles. This new version includes the following additions:
- M-Lok pattern attachment slots on sides and bottom of the forend
- Barricade-stop grooves ahead of mag-well
- Side-relieved mag well
The lightweight and compact LSS-RF Gen2 offers improved accuracy thanks to the V-shaped bedding and free floated forend, which allows for barrel contours up to 1" in diameter. Made from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with Cerakote™ in Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE), the chassis system is compatible with carbine AR-15 buttstocks (fixed buttstocks can also be mounted with the use of a fixed stock adapter). The factory magazine is used, and each chassis is compatible with all factory barrel contours.
The Savage Mark II, CZ 455, and Ruger American® can use iron sights with this chassis since the buttstock interface has been lowered. However, if you are using a scope, MDT recommends a stock with a cheek riser. Please note that the chassis is sold separately and does NOT include a butt stock, pistol grip, or other components.
Here are some additional important notes:
- The Ruger American® requires the two OEM fixing components in addition to the magazine
- The CZ455 will not work with the CZ455 Tuning trigger
The LSS-RF chassis is compatible with AR-15 carbine buttstocks and pistol grips (which are sold separately) and is designed to allow for customization with a wide variety of accessories. Magpul style L5 (11 slots) and L3 (7 slots) rails (1.600” / 3.200”) can be used on the bottom of the forend, and the chassis is compatible with MDT’s Aluminium Picatinny Rails with Flush Cup Sling Mounts.
