The MDT LSS Chassis is designed to optimize the tactical versatility, ergonomics, and accuracy of your bolt-action rifle while remaining compact and lightweight. The V-shaped bedding and recoil lug area on the chassis only make contact with the receiver, ensuring high accuracy potential with repeatability. There is ample spacing on the handguard to accommodate even bull barrels for free floating. The forend of the chassis has mounting holes that can accept Magpul® L5 and L3 rails. The chassis is compatible with any collapsible AR-15 buttstock for added versatility, or a fixed buttstock can be installed using a fixed stock adapter. It is recommended to use an AR-15 pistol grip with a beavertail or a soft (bendable) beavertail for the best fit.

To use the MDT LSS Chassis with a Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard Short Action rifle, you will need MDT Polymer or Poly-Metal magazines. However, if you are using a Howa Mini Action Chassis, then factory Howa magazines will work just fine.
