The MDT LSS Chassis is designed to be extremely compact and lightweight, while still providing exceptional tactical versatility, ergonomics, and accuracy for your bolt-action rifle. The V-shaped bedding and recoil lug area on the chassis ensure high accuracy potential with repeatability, with only the receiver in contact. The handguard provides enough space for even bull barrels to free float, and Magpul® L5 and L3 rails can be mounted on the forend's mounting holes.

The one-piece MDT LSS Chassis allows you to mount any collapsible AR-15 buttstock for compact versatility, or attach a fixed buttstock using a fixed stock adapter. The chassis is also compatible with any AR-15 pistol grip, however, those without a beavertail, or that use a soft (bendable) beavertail are highly recommended for the best fit.

For the Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard Short Action Stocks, MDT Polymer or Poly-Metal magazines are required. For the Howa Mini Action Chassis, factory Howa magazines can be used.

The LSS Chassis does not come with a grip or buttstock, allowing for user customization.
