Its primary function is to mitigate mirage and maintain a clear view of the target during extended firing sessions. Additionally, it allows hunters and operators to attach a night vision optic to their system. For competitors, the Mirage Shield provides an increased surface area to control the front of the rifle without having to grab a hot barrel.

COMPATIBILITY:

This accessory is only compatible with MDT ACC chassis systems and cannot be used on any other chassis that use M-LOK on the sides of the forend. It can accommodate larger diameter aftermarket barrels up to straight or no taper 1.350”, but it is not advisable to use it on barrels bigger than 1.125” at the muzzle due to potential machining tolerances and forend flex.
