The Hunter X-22 Takedown Forend is designed to be used with additional rifle barrels on firearms that already have the Hunter X-22 Takedown Stock. High quality, reinforced polymer is used to make the X-22 Takedown Forend, and it has a reversible barrel tray for factory pencil profiles and heavy bull barrels with up to 0.920" outer diameter to guarantee proper fit. Multiple M-LOK® slots allow for accessory attachment and an adjustable barrel-tensioning shim is located in the forend, which allows users to set barrel preload (the barrel may also be free-floated).
