This tool expands and flares the case mouth to promote consistent bullet seating during reloading. Its two-step operation prevents brass from stretching like a standard expander button would, thereby extending its service life. It also prevents the shaving of bullet material when reloading cast bullets. Made of hardened steel and heat-treated to Rc 50, it is hand-polished before and after to an 8 RMS finish. Please note that the shellholder is not included.
