The Law Tactical steel adapter enables the installation of a folding stock on any AR-15 rifle. This modification results in a more compact firearm, making it easier to deploy from a vehicle or transport in hostile environments. The adapter works with either gas impingement or gas piston systems, and accepts A2, mil-spec M4-style, and commercial carbine receiver extension tubes and almost any stock that fits them. It is also compatible with all standard bolt carrier groups, including full-auto and .308 size. The folding mechanism is operated with a single button, and a steel locking latch keeps the stock securely in place when extended. The Gen3-M version has a lowered hinge to avoid interference when charging the weapon, and a setscrew to keep the adapter affixed to the receiver.
