Introducing the Faxon Firearms Big Gunner .308 Win. Barrel, the bigger brother to the popular 5.56 Gunner barrels. The Big Gunners boast a medium taper behind the gas block and a gas block journal that is compatible with most common gas blocks with a .750" measurement. Towards the front, we use a thinner taper to maintain rigidity while reducing weight, ideal for high firing rate and as a suppressor host. This design also maximizes maneuverability by keeping the weight at the rear.

Constructed from stress-relieved 4150 chrome moly steel, each Big Gunner .308 Win. barrel comes with a tough, wear-resistant Nitride finish. It fits DPMS LR-308 Gen1 pattern upper receiver or the Armalite AR-10 upper, with 1-10" twist and an 11° target crowned muzzle. Additionally, the barrel is threaded with a 5/8"-24 thread.

Before firing your new barrel, we highly recommend checking the headspace between your barrel and bolt. For precise measurement, we recommend using PTG headspace gauges with our barrels. Furthermore, each barrel is individually checked for headspace using precision gauges.
