Description: The Faxon Firearms Big Gunner .308 Win. Barrel is similar to Faxon's popular 5.56 Gunner barrels but with a bigger profile. The Big Gunner features a medium-taper behind the gas block, with a gas block journal set to .750" for compatibility with the majority of gas blocks. From the gas block journal forward, there is a thinner taper designed to reduce weight and increase rigidity for high fire rates and as a suppressor host. By keeping the weight at the rear, it maximizes rigidity and maneuverability.

Each Big Gunner .308 Win. barrel is made of stress-relieved 4150 chrome moly steel, and finished with a wear-resistant Nitride finish. This barrel will fit DPMS LR-308 Gen1 pattern upper receiver OR Armalite AR-10 upper, has a 1-10" twist, 11° target crowned muzzle, and a 5/8"-24 threaded muzzle. Each barrel is individually checked for headspace using precision gauges.
