EGW's red dot sights should be installed from left to right, with the muzzle facing forward. The mount is designed with a progressive taper to make installation easier.

To install, first remove the rear sight from your gun. Next, install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail and tighten the set screw if applicable. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount, using a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the mount for easy removal and to keep Loctite off the sight.

Apply blue Loctite to the provided screws and torque them to 15in/lbs. Two button head cap screws are provided for Vortex Viper and Venom sights, while two flat head cap screws are provided for Burris FastFire and Docter sights. These screws require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation.

It's important to note that modifying your firearm may void the manufacturer's warranty. Additionally, this product should be installed and checked by a qualified gunsmith. EGW's mount fits the Smith & Wesson Model 52, but not the Model 41.
