EGW red dot sights should be installed from the left to the right (with the muzzle facing forward), taking advantage of the progressive taper of the dovetail for easier fitting.

To mount your Vortex Viper/Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red-dot sight, simply remove the rear sight on your gun and replace it with the EGW mount, which can be removed at any time. The mounting hardware is included.

Here are the installation instructions:

1. Remove the rear sight*
2. Install the EGW Sight Mount in the dovetail
3. Tighten the set screw (if applicable)
4. Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount (placing a small piece of paper between the two components will make for easier removal and avoid Loctite getting on the red dot sight.)
5. Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws
6. Torque the mounting screws to 15in/lbs

The mount comes with 2 Button Head Cap Screws for mounting Vortex Viper and Venom sights, and 2 Flat Head Cap Screws for Burris FastFire and Docter sights. Use a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation.
