17-4 stainless steel turkey tubes, which have been heat-treated, are capable of handling the heaviest loads and have better accuracy by having fewer fliers. The 12 gauge tubes extend approximately 1 inch from the barrel's end while the 20 gauge tubes extend approximately 3/4 inches.
