The B.A.D Edition 556 SWITCH™ Rail is the result of a collaboration between Battle Arms Development, Inc. and Fortis Manufacturing. This rail has a unique proprietary clamp system designed to make removing your B.A.D rail a breeze. M-LOK and Keymod positions are present on the rail at 3 & 9 o’clock and 6 o’clock, respectively.

The rail is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and is lightened with a continuous picatinny rail. The locking handle is made of 7075-T6 Aluminum, while the internal diameter is measured at 1.34". The QD sockets are limited in rotation and the barrel nut is designed as 4140 heat treated with a size of 1-7/16 x 16 T.P.I.

The recommended clamp torque setting is 20in lbs and a spanner wrench is required to torque the barrel nut to the specification desired (not included). Its Mil-Spec anodizing ensures quality standards are met and it’s made in the USA.
