Introducing the ATLAS R-ONE, the latest addition to Aero Precision's Handguard lineup. The R-ONE series of handguards is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and has been designed with weight and size in mind, making it the ideal handguard for your light build. Our unique ATLAS attachment system is a sturdy and reliable mount, providing strength and stability that clients have grown to adore from Aero Precision's handguards, while still maintaining a sleek profile.

The ATLAS R-ONE is available in both KeyMod and M-LOK profiles, with options for lengths of 12" and 15" (7" and 9" choices are coming soon).

Our Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing with two mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide even distribution of clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut using a turnbuckle screw. The ratcheting detent also secures the design for positive registration during installation. Due to its design, the even pressure of the ATLAS system prevents the distortion of the handguard often seen with current applications during the installation process.

The hardware mounting components come included with the ATLAS Handguard purchase. Furthermore, the ATLAS handguards are lightweight by design.

The KeyMod Handguard Weights are as follows: 7" - 5.12 oz / 9" - 5.92 oz / 12" - 7.84 oz / 15" - 8.96 oz. The M-LOK Handguard Weights are as follows: 7" - 5.22 oz / 9" - 6.03 oz / 12" - 8 oz / 15" - 9.07 oz. The mounting hardware weight remains the same across all ATLAS Handguard options at 4.72 oz.

Features of the ATLAS handguard include a full top picatinny rail for optional attachments, a quick disconnect sling socket at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, compatibility with low profile gas blocks, a 1.3" inside diameter, and a 1.5" outside diameter. Additionally, the ATLAS handguards are compatible with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels, and they are designed to match seamlessly with our M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. However, they may not be compatible with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. You can save money when you buy them as a combo.
