Introducing the newest addition to Aero Precision's Handguard lineup, the ATLAS R-ONE. These handguards are crafted using high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum, making them incredibly lightweight. They come in two profiles: KeyMod and M-LOK®, with 12" and 15" options available. The ATLAS attachment system, exclusive to Aero Precision Handguards, is a sturdy and dependable mounting platform that maintains a slim profile, providing superior strength and stability.
The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It consists of two mirrored tapered locking nuts, providing evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut with the use of a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. This system avoids any distortion of the handguard, which is often seen with existing installations.
Mounting hardware for the ATLAS Handguards is included in the purchase. The KeyMod Handguard comes in four sizes: 7" (5.12oz), 9" (5.92oz), 12" (7.84oz), and 15" (8.96oz). The M-LOK Handguard also comes in four sizes: 7" (5.22oz), 9" (6.03oz), 12" (8oz), and 15" (9.07oz).
ATLAS Handguards have a number of features, including a full top picatinny rail for easy attachment of accessories. They also come with quick disconnect sling sockets at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and are compatible with low profile gas blocks. The inside diameter is 1.3" while the outside diameter is 1.5". These handguards are compatible with mil-spec AR15 upper receivers and barrels.
ATLAS Handguards are designed to match seamlessly with Aero Precision's M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers. They are also compatible with any Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers but may not be suitable with billet upper receivers due to indexing tabs. You can save when you buy them as a combo.
