Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the R-ONE line of handguards provides the perfect lightweight option for your build. Featuring Aero Precision's proprietary ATLAS attachment system, this handguard ensures a durable and dependable mounting platform that maintains a slim profile while still offering the strength and stability that customers have come to expect from Aero Precision's handguards. The ATLAS system features two mirrored tapered locking nuts that provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut, secured via a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design while providing positive registration during installation. Even pressure ensures the ATLAS system avoids distortion of the handguard, often seen with current applications during installation. The new Aero Taper Lock Attachment System is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. All hardware mounting parts come included with the purchase of an ATLAS Handguard, currently available in KeyMod and M-LOK profiles and measuring 12" and 15", with 7" and 9" options coming soon.
