Accu-Shot Monopods add stability and provide an easy way to adjust the elevation of bi-pod equipped rifles. These monopods are designed to attach to the rear sling swivel stud of most rifles, except for military type rifles with A2 stocks which require the optional AR-15/M1-A adapter.
The "Original" Monopod is adjustable with a neoprene body that rotates and every full rotation is equivalent to five inches of movement at 100 yards. It is a well-made accessory suitable for shooting off the bench or on the ground. The lock ring on each model locks the elevation into place. The "Quick Knob" model allows for fast adjustments and has 3.5"-4.65" of elevation. The AI/ASAI Original Monopod fits the Accuracy International AE, AW, and AICS stock systems.
The Precision Rail Monopod (PRM) from Accu-Shot is designed to attach to a Picatinny rail and can also be used as a folding vertical fore grip. When not in use, it can be easily folded up and retracted out of the way. The PRM is available with the factory upgraded "Quick Knob" for faster target acquisition. The "Quick Knob" makes quick adjustments possible with the push of a button. The monopod can slide up or down for gross adjustment when the spring loaded button is depressed so that the desired sight picture can be achieved. For fine adjustment, the button can be released and the actuator rod threads can be re-engaged and the knob can be rotated. The PRM is available in Standard (3.5" - 4.75"), Mid-Range (4.4" - 5.85"), and Long (5.85" - 6.85") lengths with Quick Knob.
For those interested, it is possible to purchase an original Accu-Shot Precision Monopod with the new "Quick Knob" upgrade already installed. These models are available in Standard (3.65" - 4.75"), Mid-Range (4.75" - 5.85"), and Long (5.7" - 6.85") lengths.
