Introducing the RMR Slide for Glock® 17 Gen3 pistols from Brownells, now available with distinctive, wraparound front cocking serrations to aid in manipulating the slide for chamber checks and clearing jams. The serrations not only serve a functional purpose, but also add a cool, modern touch.
In addition, these slides come with a pre-cut slot for easy, secure mounting of a Trijicon RMR or Holosun red dot sight. Standard Glock® factory front and rear sight dovetails are also included, making it easy to install iron backup sights. For optimal co-witness with the RMR sight, suppressor-height iron sights are recommended.
For those who compete in action shooting competitions or have upgraded barrels with unique finishes, the Brownells RMR Slide for Glock® 17 Gen3 also features a "window" cutout on top to enhance airflow and showcase your barrel.
Crafted from a billet of corrosion-resistant 17-4 stainless steel, each slide is machined to Glock® factory specifications to ensure compatibility with factory frames and aftermarket barrels and Gen3 internal parts. Slides are heat-treated to Rc 41-44 on the Rockwell C scale for added surface hardness and wear resistance. They are available in three finishes: a wear-resistant basic Black Nitride, or a thin, extremely tough, physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in Bronze or Flat Dark Earth (FDE).
Ideal for upgrading your factory Glock® 17 Gen3 pistol or as the perfect "top half" for a custom gun built on a Polymer80 80% frame, the Brownells RMR Slide for Glock® 17 Gen3 is a top-of-the-line choice. Note that a channel liner is required for these slides and we recommend using the #777-100-017 tool for installation.
